Students were treated to a virtual reading and live illustration demo by author and illustrator Emma Virjan. The first story in Virjan’s popular series is a learn to read favorite and helps teach children about the importance of friendship. Emma also discussed her storytelling process with students such as what here inspirations are and what is a character arc.
