Thank you to the 30 fantastic volunteers who cleaned up Ft. Wadsworth! We removed 8lbs of recycling and 350 lbs of trash from the shore, including two large pipes and a metal chair.
We’re grateful to Council Member David Carr for their sponsorship and for the support of our program partners NRPA and National Parks Service. We’d also like to thank volunteers from Trash to Treasure as well as students from IS 7, Stuyvesant High School and Brooklyn Tech.
