Thank you to the 11 fantastic volunteer stewards who joined us on Thursday August 10th at the Baychester and Bartow Ave. Together we removed about 500lbs of trash including such large items as three bike frames, a toilet, a filled grease trap, a shopping cart and a car bumper.Our efforts helped make a positive impact on Co-op City by beautifying the neighborhood for local residents, creating safer access to sidewalks and improving rain garden and storm drain functionality.
