Kirklan Cooper Jobe

Kirklan is currently an undergraduate student at City College of New York majoring in Earth Atmospheric Science. Kirklan is passionate about learning and protecting biodiversity in New York City. In his free time, he enjoys volunteering and participating in stewardship programs with NYC Parks. As an environmental enthusiast, he teamed up with the Natural Areas Conservancy where he conducted field surveys of trails and wetlands in 2021. As Mapping Educator, he inspires enthusiasm about environmental science in students across all boroughs. His hope is for the younger generation to be driven and curious about biodiversity within their communities.
