Research Program Manager
Kevin Barrett guides our youth research programs in New York City public schools related to urban ecology, stormwater management, water quality, and environmental justice. A Brooklyn-born botanist, Kevin loves to teach New Yorkers about the past and present ecosystems of New York City and the Hudson Valley. He holds a B.S. in Earth and Environmental Sciences from Lehigh University and a Ph.D. in botany from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, specializing in the unique plant communities of peatlands.
