Horseshoe Crab Discovery Walk for Teachers

For Teachers: Join science educator Alan Ascher to observe horseshoe crabs during their mating rutals and meet some of the other marsh inhabitants. No experience required.

We will observe and discuss changes that have occurred at Plumb Beach since hurricane Sandy and discuss their significance on Horseshoe crabs and on the sustainability of the site.

Individual students who accompany a teacher or parent are welcome to attend.

Dress casually. Old sneakers recommended. You will be walking approximately ¾ mile round trip. Limited facilities at site.
