Participants learned about uptown’s history and enjoyed stunning views of the Harlem River Waterfront walking along the Greenway from High Bridge Park to Roberto Clemente State Park. This was was led by community activist and local resident Chauncy Young.
The inaugural walk had 30 attendees and occured just days before Mayor Adams Administration pledged to expand the Harlem River Greenway to restore water access to Bronxites for seven miles from Van Cortlandt Park to Randall’s Island. We can’t wait for the construction to be completed!
