We’re grateful to the 35 volunteers who cleaned up Conference House Park Page Ave Beach this past Saturday. Together we removed 500 lbs of trash along with large debris items such as: a truck tire, a french door, three car tires, a water heater, a rusted motor and a lawn chair.
Ever thankful to our program partners NRPA and Partnership for Parks, NYC Parks, and DSNY for helping make this cleanup a success. We’d also like to recognize with extra thanks all the dedicated students and those who helped out from Monsignor Farrell High School, IS 7, PS 62, and St. Joseph By The Sea. And as always, much thanks goes out to CM Joe Borelli and his team for sponsoring this stewardship event.
