Chelsea Wepy is passionate about bringing awareness about the impacts of climate change on NYC through education and community engagement. She received her B.B.A. in entrepreneurial management from Baruch College with a minor in environmental sustainability. As an undergraduate, she researched climate-induced migration, fear ecology, GIS modeling, and carbon pricing policy. Her enthusiasm for education was sparked while volunteering as a climate change educator with a local NGO in the Dominican Republic and as a teaching assistant for Baruch’s MBA course, Leading Organizational Change for Environmental Sustainability.
Currently, she is also the program coordinator for the Baruch Climate Action Collaborative at Baruch College and is excited to have the opportunity to ignite curiosity about our natural environment in her fellow New Yorkers.
