Arthur Kill Road Cleanup

An overcast cleanup brought out the sun in Staten Island where fifty volunteers cleaned from South Bridge Street to Sharrotts Road this Saturday. With some help from NYPD for traffic calming, volunteers, NRPA and NYC H2O removed trash from the wetlands that Arthur Kill Road cuts through. The cleanup benefited pedestrian and motorist safety by removing hazardous debris as well as removed pollution from entering the nearby Raritan Bay.
